Dr. Marcia Garnica Jarquin graduated in 2016 and has practiced in Mexico, Australia, and the United States. Since relocating to Minnesota in 2023, she brings a global perspective to patient care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and gardening. She lives with her husband, two Springer Spaniels Leo and Zeus, and cat, Kiara.
Dr. Marcia values compassion toward animals, believing that trust and comfort are key to good medicine. She practices Fear Free techniques and integrated learning approaches to reduce patient stress and support better outcomes for pets and their families. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Surgery is her favorite part of the job-loving the challenge and the chance to directly improve a pet's quality of life.
